Abstrak

The Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as one of the most significant technological innovations in recent decades, with the potential to transform various industrial sectors and everyday life. IoT refers to a network of interconnected devices that can communicate and share data over the internet without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. With the increasing adoption of IoT, we can expect improvements in operational efficiency, quality of life, and sustainable economic progress. IoT enables devices to collect data in real-time, analyze it, and automatically take actions based on the analysis results. This capability allows for process optimization, increased productivity, and significant cost reduction. This research employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to identify, review, evaluate, and interpret studies on the application of IoT in various fields. The methods used in the analysis of IoT implementation include waterfall, prototype, qualitative, quantitative, descriptive, and Research and Development. The research findings indicate that the Prototype method is the most widely used and effective in analyzing IoT applications. Moreover, the application of IoT is not limited to system design but also extends to its implementation in various fields such as transportation, agriculture, government, and healthcare. Several factors driving IoT implementation include current technological advancements and the desire to improve efficiency and simplify processes. This study aims to assist in the development of IoT and serve as a valuable reference for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in understanding and optimizing IoT applications across various sectors.
